ANEMONE BARBULATA approx. 20 seeds, Hardy Perennial

China is the home of this delicate new discovery. Repeatedly branching thin stems carry clusters of numerous fragile, blue-backed pure white flowers. Superficially like Anemone leveillei, but bearing smaller and many, many more flowers.

Sow: at any time of the year, they depend on having several months, sometimes up to a year in the cold, before they will germinate. Keep the seed tray moist in a cold greenhouse or shady corner and do not discard. These seeds can be very slow to germinate but do not use any artificial heat in an attempt to germinate them as it may simply disrupt their germination mechanism causing them to enter even deeper dormancy.
You can put them in damp compost in a zip lock bag in the fridge for a couple of months to help brake the dormancy.
This seed will test your skills as a grower but well worth the effort.
