An evergreen, clump-forming herbaceous perennial with strap-shaped leaves and sturdy stems which produce panicles of trumpet-shaped violet-blue flowers, with a darker midrib down the centre of each petal, in summer

When to Sow (indoors): April - July 2-12 weeks at 18-20°C. and keep moist but not wet. Erratic germinator
When to Plant (outdoors): May Onwards
Sow seed in trays and cover lightly with vermiculite or seed compost.
Prick out in to small pots as soon as the seedling are large enough to handle grow on at 14°C

Always use a good quality seed compost.
