Stunning ferny foliage and an abundance of graceful flowers up to 10cm or more in diameter make this an outstanding and popular, easy to cultivate annual. Blooms all summer until frost. Very effective when grown in masses as a background planting and informal flower gardens. Makes excellent cut flowers. Tolerates poor soil, heat and dry conditions. Very Attractive to Butterflies. 30-36 inches high.

Sow the seeds thinly on the surface of a good quality moistened seed compost at min 18°C in Feb - March. Lightly cover the seed with fine compost or vermiculite to cover the seed to approx. 3mm deep. DO NOT EXCLUDE LIGHT as this will help the germination which should occur within 10 - 14 days.
Or sow direct into the flowering position, 25cm between rows, in April-May. Takes around 12 weeks sowing to flowering.
