Tomato Ola Polka. is a Heritage dwarf variety originating from Poland producing a cocktail sized yellow fruits 30-60 Gram each on compact plants well suited to container growing in smaller spaces. The flavour is sweet with slight nutty taste. Potato leaf type foliage. One of the last varieties in our outdoor trials to develop blight. When to Sow (indoors): February onwards Sow seeds underglass 0.5cm(1/4 in) deep in pots or trays of good seed compost and lightly cover with a sprinkling of vermiculite or fine compost. Place containers in a propagator at a temperature of 18–21°C Germination in 6-14 days Plant in Full Sun then Shade later Prick out in to small pots as soon as the seedling are large enough to handle |
